I bought a small microphone to use with my phone. Then i can hide the phone so she dosent chew it and give the mic attention. Im trying to record some of babybirds sounds she can say. Then i want to use em for a ring tone or sms tone But she never wants to say anything shen i hold the mic...she just bonk the mic with her beak several times likes it a toy. But if i can get a record one day then i will upload here This is like trying to get a video of something cute/funny that they do. They often stop immediately when a camera is turned on! HAha yeah its exactly like that..I keep making silly sounds in front of her with the mic but she looks at me like im stupid.... I need her to say a clear fart sound for my sms tone !

Not right now, but last night just before bed.. Do they all sleep in the same cages at nights or is it random what cage they pick to sleep in ?

Marianne Marlow , I was thinking about ordering that cuttlefish holder with the green leaf perch. Do they like the perch part?

Budgiefeets I have four cages and the allocations are 1/ Chipper, Daisy 2/ George, Peter, Dinku, Iris 3/ Barney, Ayla 4/ Rocky I have tried to get other budgies to stay in with Rocky overnight, but it's been unsuccessful so far. My husband says that I need to get rid of one cage though as four is too many to maintain, so I need to make a decision soon. In answer to your question, I always get them in their correct cages because otherwise the hens bicker and no one settles down. Azalea I have two of the cuttlebone holders, they came with Rocky. He's the only one that uses them, unless you count Iris trying to rip them off the cage walls with her beak.

I don't know how you can do it without putting any hens together. Is there a chance that two hens would bicker less with certain males around?

There are 3 hens, so it is possible :-)

There are 3 hens, so it is possible :-) Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought that you needed one hen per cage *and* to keep Rocky alone, which sounded like you would need to save one cage (of the three) for just Rocky.

That's what I have now. But Rocky will need company.

I need to go from 4 cages to 3, so possibly Barney and Ayla in with Rocky.

When I had 9 I had the big flight cage and a smaller #time out cage, it was nothing to see them all bundled into the small cage 😂

If I left the Budgie and Cockatiel cages open all night, I would probably find almost everyone sleeping in the Budgie cage, except for one or two Budgies, who would be in the Cockatiel cage. Basil might be there with Willow or Misfit (he seems to pay more attention to Misfit lately).
