Great news. Pepper will start to look less like a budgie and more like a Cockatiel again!

Oh, bless her. Good girl Pepper Pepper acts like a male (loud singing and making the "heart wings" display), but has some speckled tail feathers, which made a vet think they are female. I've also heard of female Cockatiels imitating male behaviors (as if Pepper learned from Kona). However, they are almost two years old and have not laid an egg. I currently say "he" but we will see.
We could get a DNA test but we had a lot going on recently, and it has not been high on our to-do list. We still might try to do it in a few months, if there are no eggs.

I was eating some apple today and offered a piece to Babybird, but she just bites the apple and flings pieces everywhere... She dosent eat any of the apple at all. Why is she doing this ? Its like that with every kind of food we offer her beside seeds.

Broccoli is also good because you can use a knife to cut the buds off, so they look like little green seeds...stir into her regular seeds.
You've mentioned her stealing food before. Maybe you tell her that she CAN'T have apple, peas, corn, etc.!

yes i also tryed that but it only made it worse..since it more easy to pick on the pieces than washing the walls and furnitures from mashed food XD
She does eat corn normaly but everything else needs to to flinged around. Perhaps i should try and mix some of it her seed bowl. I havent tryed that yet.

That's a nice bath, Azalea but there would be murders if I tried that one here. The big pet fountain and the casserole bowl I use aren't always big enough when demand for bathing facilities is high

Actually managed to get a photo with Ayla in it. She is scared of my phone! She's the girl at the front of the photo.
