Azalea who is the bud standing in the middle of the plate of peas and sweetcorn? In our house that would definitely have been Toby 😂 That is Misfit. She has become more confident and seems to be the dominant female Budgie now, instead of Willow.

Barney like to spend time on his own, singing. I think that the hens can be too boisterous for him at times. I took this photo more than 3 hours ago and he's still in there!

Thunder and Barney obviously need a break at times.
Barney is on top of the curtain rail with Dinku now.
They have their heads back, singing quietly.

Freya, the newest bird, is at the point where she will step into my hand so I can pick her up from the floor and put her back in/on top of the cage. (As with many pet shop Budgies, her wings were clipped when we bought her.)

How vocal are your birds? My Buddy yells when he flies, almost like a contact call. When he eats his favorite foods, he makes a very low chirp. It almost sounds like the equivalent of budgie for mmmmmm.

Either most of them are making noise, or none.

Today I learned that clementines must be offered correctly in order for them to be considered as food.
I was feeding Quincy a clem segment whilst trying to feed myself at the same time. Chocobo flew in and asked for some so, having no free hands, I quickly placed a segment in front of her, on the countertop. She looked at it quizzically and then looked at Quincy and the segments in my other hand.
I picked up the segment in front of her and offered it to her properly. She took it from my hand, held it in hers and then devoured half of it.
Lesson learned.
