Quincy is fine, I believe. She looks good, feather coverage looks normal, she's sweet-tempered and active, eating and digestion all good. So I am more curious than concerned with her naughty feather issue. Hi Loz - Re your earlier comment about having no specialist Vet within 100 miles, taking your distance as gospel then I suggest www.medivetgroup.com/vet-practices/aston-clinton/ They are excellent and include bird specialism, they also include pet boarding (tho they might balk at your whole flock ......). Both Whistle and Hum were cared for there, so you could maybe take over Whistle's careship.

Thanks, oldbuddy . A two-hour one-way drive for me but worth thinking about if push comes to shove Thanks for offering to pet board my Flock

loz is it one of these feathers that you're talking about? Do you have any pictures of the feathers she pulls out?

That looks like the type of feather she pulls out when she sqwarks.
I've not seen a noteworthy example in a couple of days now and the sqwarking has been less of a feature but when one comes along, I will post a pic!

Quincy pulled another one not long ago. I offered it to her so she could look at it. She bit at it and then flew away She's fine now, receiving nose-rubs and being sweet.
