Just came home and found one of my boys looking a little worse for wear . First thoughts were a fight had happened but checked all the other boys for blood and nothing . Any suggestions ? Have been gently spraying with water

Poor thing, is it a pin feather that has ruptured?
How is he now?

Have been spraying him throughout the day and it is looking better . If it was pin feathers then I'm guessing there were a few asbi have not seen anything like that before.

One broken pin feather can look like a massacre has occurred. As long are there is no active bleeding he should be fine.

I also wonder if this is from a pin feather. There was a similar wound on our Sun Conure. She looked as if she had been in a fight, but she has her own cage.

I think Hezz meant bleeding. One broken pin feather can look like a massacre has occurred. As long are there is no active breeding he should be fine.
