He is looking more and more like a real bird every day! I think I am closer to determining his color/mutation. He's pale, creamy yellow all over (yellow/goldenface type one??), he has blue coming in on his tail and his chest (it's pale blue-green, actually), and if you look really closely on the shoulder of his wing there, you can see three feathers with VERY light grey scalloping, so I am thinking graywing? Also, being predominantly white, I am thinking recessive pied? Thoughts?

sarah I don't think they typically change colors so much as the colors are intensified. It's like that with most (if not all) birds--- juveniles and females tend to be duller in coloration (although for females that is rarely true when it comes to psitticines). carlshave So cute!! Although your baby definately isn't peid. I cannot believe how yellow my little guy is!!!

Loki is a yellow face 2 recessive pied. There appear to be only very sparse markings so it is quite likely that there is another mutation present as well

Please send some more pics when he is older.
I am sure nev90 or Barrie or Budgiebuddy or Bird Junky will be able to give you a good suggestion on his mutation then.
