I'm in the process of sourcing wood again this year to restart my wood revenue for the birdy folk!
This year I will be using largely;
Willow, Ash, Scyamore, Birch and Apple wood.
I will be building tree sets, play stands and perches with marine grade stainless steel wingnut and washer attachments. This means they are suitable for in cage use or outside when flying.
Play stands will be the most expensive, as I need to not only prepare and drill the wood, but sourcing larger stainless steel fixtures and the plywood boards (with optional fancy beading trim on the base) are not cheap these days either. Perfect for tables, flat top cages and can be modified at slight cost to be wall mountable also. Approx estimate £20-£30 as a rough guide.
Cage Trees will be second down the list. These will be basically a thick drilled playtree without the ply base but bigger nut and washer for attaching to any shape of cage as a "homing" branch. Perfect for domed/curved top cages. Approx £15-20.
The value range will be wingnutted standard perches, all still stainless steel. Approx £1 to £5 depending on size.
Perches also available without any attachments if you prefer to use string or rubber plant wires to attach permenant perches to the inside of your cages.
Prices will be approximate depending on what you want, how big you need it, how thick it has to be and what of the above you want.
I currently have only got Applewood and Birch in stock.
Any enquiries, please message me here, or email Bonesy@gmail.com
I can have these items made within a few days (circumstance allowing) to specification, and most can be shipped at cost of delivery as long as they are not in excess of 15kg.
Cheers guys!
Regards,
Soph.
