I have read through Barrie's breeding for beginners a few times now and from what I can work out the conditions are right but my cock is acting strangely. He will blank her advances on him to a certain extent and then when she flies off he calls her back and then blanks her advances again. they've been paired for a little while (about 2 weeks) and the past 3 days emy has been having a go at him every day - multiple attempts everyday but to no avail. video i took earlier when emy was trying again imageshack.us/clip/my-videos/209/cqd.mp4/

I believe the cock is distracted by the bird/s in the next cage , you need a slide divider between the cages

A similar story to what I have seen in my first timers in the last year or so. It is very hard to tell but I think one is olive/grey green and the other one is green spangle. If the olive/grey green is cock, they are on right track. Just wait for a few more days. And as Barrie very rightly said, give them some privacy.

Sometimes dark green/olive/grey green look similar in pictures and videos. BTW, your birds are very beautiful. Is this a plastic perch?

I also have a problem with my one pair and I do colony breeding.
My cock can not climb on the hen to mate they are both more than 9 months old (maybe 1 year old). I noticed that the hen bends herself more than normal and cock also can't climb on her. This is their first time mating though.

What are the perches like?
