My 12 year old son plays field hockey with one of the local clubs. We are apparently hosting a U14 (and U17) team from Langley Park school (UK) in August. Google maps tells me this is between Lanchester and Durham, just off the A691. Is this close to anyone? It would be lovely if there were someone on here connected in some way. Big ask I know, but have to ask the question.

How far would that be, Barrie? They are nearly on one coast, you are nearly on the other.
Do you know of anyone else close to there?

Nowhere near us Hezz, if you look at the Isle of Wight we are directly above it, we can even see it from the mainland in a few choice places locally!
