I know this has been asked before but cant find it now so my question is-what is a good air purifier that is not to expensive but does the job,also i think i need one with out an ionizer,is this right?

I believe an ioniser creates ions which "stick" to the particles in the air making them heavier so they don't remain airborne, but I could be wrong- it happens now and again!! Mine has the option to turn the ioniser on or off, but it doesn't fit on your wish list for a cheap air purifier... having said that mine is a Bionaire and is the bee's knees!
