I think this fox wanted a go on the scooter? I took this photo a few hours ago when I went to check on my Euccy tree and Chickweed on the balcony.

Are you surprised BB? - we get squirrels too! Yes I am. Squirrels can survive on trees which are a lot in London but where would a fox live.

Foxes have become very much urban survivors/scavangers. In fact fox populations are often higher in urban areas than rural. Lots of food in bins for them to scavange in, plenty of hidey holes, and basically no predators. The regular methods that we humans take in controlling foxes in rural areas aren't acceptable in urban areas. Poisoning, shooting, hunting or trapping - imagine the uproar trying any of them in the city! Mudchute City Farm sounds very interesting in history, Marianne. Unfortunately their website wouldn't load for me ........... may just be all these Aussie kids on school hols, spending all their time on the computer - it has been very slow the last few days. PS How are the tree and chickweed?

The fox will have to fix the scooter before riding it otherwise he will have a job steering it.

I noticed that too, Sweetpea, probably why it was dumped in the first place. The handles are there, he just has to work out how to fit them. Your link opened straight away, Marianne. I will have to have more of a look a bit later.

you need to turn your tree around every so offended, so you dont have a 'bent' tree it will encourage it to grow straight!!! its starting to grow towards the light !!!
