Can anyone recommend somewhere online to get drinkers for horizontal cages?
I have one that keeps leaking and I need to replace it.
Thanks
Marianne

I have that problem too. It's such a pain. I had to turn the hole in the tower away from the part they drink from so the water doesn't come out at much. It's started dripping again now though. Vertical cages seem so much easier for drinkers. Mine's supposed to be for a vertical cage. I don't know any suitable for horizontal bars, sorry.

I can't turn mine around cos it's got little ridges in it.
There must be some good ones out there somewhere.
All the ones on Ebay are either HUGE or just for vertical bars..

Put the sipper through the bars and get something like cable ties, etc, that won't harm your birds and use it to tie the tower to the cage?

sydney: Not sure. I know Hezz uses them but one of her budgies won't use them at all. I think once they learn how to rotate the little ball with their tongues it's fine.

I don't think you can put the sipper through the bars for horizontal bars. It wont work. It's at an angle.

Will even a small amount go through the bars, Marrianne? Or maybe you could tie the bottle so it's held at an angle in a cradle-like structure? That way the spout would be horizontal.
Hezz will know an approximate time, Sydney. Perhaps put them in with your birds and allow them to get used to them and explore them a bit before you need them to use them?

Marianne. I use those hamster bottles for my boys. I just tried it on the horizontal bars (I usually have it on the vertical) & it's fine though the bottle doesn't fit flat against the bars. Enough of the sipper part goes through though. They come with an attachment thingymabob inside them - just a bit of plastic coated wire.

What size do you have Sweetpea? Do they say on the bottle? I have the 75ml ones. They may be the smallest.... at least they are the smallest I have seen. It's the same as the one pictured but it has Mouse on the front, not Hamster. Atilla refuses to drink from such a ridiculous looking thing so she has her own water bowl.
