Anyway I ordered one of those mouse/hamster bottles from Ebay.
I'll get my fiends used to it. It's gotta be better than the leaky water drinker!!

I got my budgies some new dishes recently intending to use them for water although they are currently being used for seed until I can find some seed dishes I like. Basically they have a clear plastic top to them so that they can't poop in the water, or at least thats the plan lol. I will find them for you on ebay now. They are a bit expensive but if you are only wanting one its not too bad plus they will fit on any type of bars as the holder screws onto the bars like a rope perch does.

They are strange looking things Rachael! lol they definitely are and I have to admit that my budgies avoided drinking from them but I've put seed in them so that they will see they aren't scary and then I will eventually use them for water instead. They're actually quite a good idea for keeping water poop free.

Well I lost this thread but finally found it as I promised to show you a photo of my new bowls in use. The budgies were a little wary of putting their heads inside the clear bit but now they are straight in there. Here is a photo of Ozzie trying them out on the first day, he looks funny stretching his neck to reach ;D
