1) single factor yellow-faced type 1st skyblue. 2) double factor yellow-faced type 1st skyblue. 3) single factor yellow-faced type 1st cobalt. 4) single factor yellow-faced type 2nd cobalt. 5) double factor yellow-faced type 2nd cobalt. 6) double factor violet-cobalt. 7) single factor Goldenface cobalt 8) double factor Goldenface cobalt. 9) double factor yellow-faced type 2nd mauve. I have questions: 1) Is colour of double factor violet-cobalt, correct 2) Are colours of all nine budgies, correct 3) Are faces of Goldenface cobalt budgies, correct colour I appreciate your help. Picture number 1: You mentioned it as Yellow Face Mutant 1 Sky Blue. In this case there shouldn't be any spread of yellow in the body. But in the drawing I can see some yellow in the chest and in the tail as well. I hope this is what you mean to ask

Not every budgie of any mutation will exactly match that mutation's official description. The description is usually the ideal show standard not the average for the mutation
The yellow will spread a little on most mutant type 1 yellow face budgies in spite of the fact that the standard calls for no spread of yellow
Some single factor violets will be a brighter violet than some double factor violets
Many, but not all, mutant type 2 yellow face sky blue budgies will be almost indistinguishable from light greens after the first moult

Hi nev90, Thanks, I studied the body colours of budgies and I found that budgies...
Light green: Harlequin green. Yellow-faced type 2nd skyblue: Emerald green. Skyblue: Electric blue Violet-skyblue: Deep Sky blue. Cobalt: Azure. Violet-cobalt: Iris purple.

Hi BudgiesBuddy, I am still learning about yellow-faced budgies and violet budgies.
To tell a yellow-faced type 2nd skyblue, from a light green budgie, you have to look at under wing coverts which are skyblue.
