Hi,
Can DF Spangles be in other colors than pure white and yellow. I mean can we have full Grey or full Sky blue DF Spangles?
Thanks,

I don't think so.
A genetically Double Factor Spangle is always all clear. It will have normal black eyes, with light irises when at full maturity.
Because we have two base colors in budgies i.e. yellow and white, and Double Factor Spangles are all clear, so it means that they can only be in white or yellow color.

Double factor spangles will sometimes show a lot of suffusion which can be very attractive but show judges frown upon it

Mostly I make mistake with DF D pieds and DF Spangles. Is there any clear sign to differenciate?
From DF d pieds I mean those DF D pieds who are completly one color sometimes.

I have two DF spangles, one white, one yellow. Milo: Casper: To my knowledge a DF spangle is either white or yellow. Whites can have tinges of blue and violet whereas i have seen a yellow DF spangle with green at the base of its stomach. They both have white cheek patches and when old enough will have iris rings.

If he has red eyes in flesh too, than he is a "Creamino" and not "Double Factor Spangle"

Sydney - DF spangles have dark blue ceres when mature, while your bird has pink cere. That is abit confusing.
