Everytime I go to a supermarket I seem to head straight for the reduced section for fruit and vegetables ;D to see what goodies I can get for the budgies. Usually there are some herbs such as curley parsley, basil, and spinach. I also pick up corn on the cobs and carrots. Is anyone else as cunning when providing veggies for their budgies? ;D

We don't get much reduced fruit and veg in our local asda. Most of the reduced stuff is meat. My two nearest supermarkets are Tesco and Morrisons. Morrisons is rubbish for reduced veg but on the rare occasion they have some it is really cheap. I got basil for 15p the other day Tescos is best, their reduced section was packed today.

The farmers' market here is great for that sort of thing - the bits they throw away are often up for grabs, but you have to beat off the guinea pig owners, lol.
