They are very nice colours.
You need to replace the plastic ridged perches with something better though. Preferably some natural branches or something wooden, slightly thicker and un-ridged.
Are they wing clipped? It's a shame if they are. But that is your choice.

It seems both birds have no flight feathers, that is a real shame.

[Thanks to all who said they are beautiful. As to the comment of them being clipped it actually was not my choice. I just bought them and am very angry. One of them falls hard on the cage floor. I have many wooden perches also but not in this cage it is brand new. I had the four budgies in another cage and due to fighting between the males separated them into groups of two. This is a brand new cage and I ordered lots of perches online. They take 7 days to deliver. I hope they will like them.

I can already see that this is going to be one of those forums where everybody nitpicks every little thing. I just wanted to share my new love for my new birds. Thanks to those who understood and refrained from giving tons of advice I didn't ask for.

Phoebe
We all love birds here and just want the best for them. No one is nitpicking and no one blamed you for the birds having their wings clipped. How were we to know that they were like that already?
Give us a chance and you'll see that we are a nice bunch.

Phoebe, there are always for and against wing clipping and I know that wing clipping is very common in some places like USA and Canada. But everything said here is because of the members' love for budgies and not because they have anything against you. Anyhow now everyone knows that the birds came to you that way and you feel bad about that. You are also trying to get them wooden perches. It appears that you are a budgie loving person just like us and I am sure you will enjoy your time with us

It seems both birds have no flight feathers, that is a real shame. Seriously, nothing positive to say about my birds! Thanks. Settle, Petal! The birds are lovely, gorgeous colours. No one on this forum is going to be critical without being constructive. You have said one plummets to the floor - this can cause injuries in itself. We have a number of members who have taken on birds who are unable to fly for one reason or another, and have taken measures to ensure that these birds are able to lead happy active lives. One of these is to keep perches low, lots of ladders and other means of getting from A to B. As the poor birds have had all flight feathers clipped, it is going to take quite a while before they moult out and regrow enough feathers to enable them to fly. Sometimes, not all, the feathers are permanently damaged by being clipped, especially if the clipper isn't experienced, and these feathers never regrow properly - one of the reasons most of us are anti-clipping. Without flight feathers the bird has no defence if it finds itself in a dangerous situation. You may wish to take a look through this: www.birdclinic.net/bird13.html
