Yeah, finally shes found a way out. Show Billie in my hands the route out, she shot in at first then got back in my hand (dont get that one) and I put her down on the rope and she decided to then fly off. Poor lass is now trying to work out how to get back home. Maybe she needed to be shown how to get in and out of her cage by herself. I caught her trying to fly around the cage she as. Ok maybe she does need a wider cage to allow her to fly around inside the cage. Sorry for the picture quality. Attachments:

Yeah I played chase with her, very much enjoyed it she did. Luckly I manged to get her back in the cage before she escaped out of my hands and had to do it all over again. One thing I noticed was the sharp chest bone, slightly worried since the last budgie we had in the same cage had that before he died and I thoughtly washed out that cage too.

Depending on the door to the cage, Beth, they can have issues with them if they are small, only big enough for you to get your hand through. Going through them puts the bird in a vulnerable position.
Instead of catching her up, will she step onto a spare perch or piece of dowel? Much less stressful for everyone than chasing her around and around the room.

Good idea Hezz, that's what we did with Mont so when it came to finger training it was just like a spare bit of dowel!
