So i know Carlshave already has a breeding journal, but i always start one every time my zebbies breed. I have only ONE pair of zebra s, The mother is split to black breasted and the father is split to fawn. We have only gotten females out of BOTH of Lux's(dad) past clutches with two different hens. Pictures of the parents then the eggs Lux, AKA daddy And this is Lolita, AKA momma! and this is Baby #1!! Candled the egg, spot the baby! taken this morning! Baby #2 has a small baby in it now, just barely see the heartbeat!! this was taken last night -fertile!!

Good idea to start a breeding journal Luckily the eggs look fertile. I can see some red veins.

Nope, this will be Lux's third clutch and Lolita's second An UPDATE Egg #3 late last night, no extremly recent pics, thought to be DIS turned out fertile! weird! Egg #1 this very morning! Egg#2, i am worried about, still no new pictures but it is half air sack.. moisture was lost a great bit, i don't think the baby will survive.

Egg #2, my hunch was correct. half air cell is not good for a tiny baby poor thing was DIS. RIP little embryo! egg lost to much moisture to what i am thinking is due to this little crack. i saw a small crack when i first candled it but was unsure whether it was a crack or just a line in the egg... now there is a hole in the egg. VERY early DIS
