Hi Allan I have a few soft-food recipes of my own. One of the simplest is boiled crushed eggs with shell. But I always believe in taking a recipe from the best. HERE is a perfect one half way down the page. Anyhow, it also depends on whether it is for pet budgies or breeding budgies.

hi thanx a lot hezz and bb i do not show budgies but my birds are exhibition size i would be interested to ear any othere replys and i would like to ear barries reply because there seems to be a lot of ways of makeing softfood some breeders kep it simple otheres seem to put loads in the mix ie supplements looking forward to more replys please thanx allan

Here is one of mine.
One cup dry egg-food One cup tonic food One cup corn One cup oats soaked over night Three small grated carrots 1/4 tea spoon garlic powder 1/4 tea spoon ginger powder 1/4 tea spoon cinnamon powder Two hard boiled eggs with shell Probiotic (Follow manufacturer’s instruction for quantity - I use BioPlus) ProBoost SuperMax (Additional for bringing birds into breeding condition)
