hey,
i have got a pair down with all infertile eggs. i want to give them another go, when should i remove the eggs? their chick is due tommorw but obiously nothing is going to happen. they are a show pair but i forgot to trim the vent feathers, so need to trim the vent feathers and give them another go. if i take the eggs out tommorw and trim thier vents will that be alright or should i wait until the last eggs hatch date .?

you can tell if an egg is fertile by the tenth day so if youhave candled them all and their all clear get rid of the eggs trim the vents and dont forget to clean the nest box and put clean shavings in regards gerwynmr2

OK than, that's great. Remove the eggs when the last egg is 20 to 22 days old and let them have a second clutch. But don't forget to trim the vent this time.
