Attached is a picture of the invalids taken yesterday. Atilla is on the left & sleeps a lot due to her lump/hernia & its complications. Cagney is on the right & has a bruised right leg & sore on his left foot. He is never far from his girlfriend (& leader).

Awwww love pictures of budgies sleeping - two sleeping beauties sorry to hear they are a bit poorly x Thanks samwiseg. It breaks my heart to see them sleeping when they should be running around causing mayhem, although to be fair, Cagney doesn't let a dodgy foot or leg stop him from being a naughty boy!

Oh bless them that's no age at all is it. The one i had years ago with same lump was 9 but i did have a little girl aged just 4 and she had a lump on her chest. They seem very contented anyway, very in love . Two of mine are Invalids, one with a broken wing and the other French Moulter, neither can fly but are happy .

Atilla and Cagney are happy with each other and with you, Sweetpea. Except that we want them to get better, they couldn't ask for anything more.

It's upsetting when they are ill or have some kind of injury but as long as they are happy (& they can be) then it makes all the difference.

Both lovely photos, Sweetpea. Poor little guys, it is hard when they aren't well. Oh yes, very hard! Especially when they look miserable too. Atilla has lost quite a few feathers today, including a tail feather, so it looks like she is now moulting on top of everything else.
