You are keeping a close on budgie toys. Always up for new ideas These are very beautiful and colorful. I wonder how strong is the wood. I sure budgies will be chewing it as well, in addition to fruits and vegetables ;D

So the price is for one piece then and not three.

Yes i think so BB, the metal ones are £5 each at the pet store, so you could buy 3 or 4 of these for that but as you said i think they may chew the wood, not sure how long they would last ;D

Think I will contact the seller to confirm the material

All I could see regarding the materials was "metal". Probably why they are cheaper - they haven't stated that they are stainless steel.

I will check that too ;D Oh and I have also found this fruit skewer on Scarletts website and the top is definitely plastic scarlettsparrotessentials.co.uk/krazy_fruit_kabob

Hi Rachael I have a fruit skewer for my budgies but it is made out of metal and doesn't have the fruit shape on the top. For me, the first time I put it in there with fruit and vegetables they left it alone. But the second time I put it in their cage (in the morning) by afternoon it was mostly gone. They really like it Nicola
