Due to a recently discovered hereditary lung condition which could affect my husband and my two little boys I have been strongly advised not to keep birds. I cannot take any risks as far as my family are concerened.
I am absolutely gutted as I love my two budgies. Hubby is upset too as he is really fond of them.
So, if there is anyone here who is interested please let me know. I live in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
They are a male and female called Colin and Alice. They are only partially tame. For example they will jump on my finger to come out of the cage and Alice will sometimes do this out of the cage too. But that's as far as it goes. They are very good at going back in the cage when it's time. They are used to 4-9 hrs of out of cage time a day. They have great little personalities and I could watch them for hours.
Alice is a normal green. I'm not sure what you'd call Colin but he is white with a blue tummy and blue back.
If needs be their cage can go with them(free of charge) . It is large and on a stand with wheels.
So if you would like them or know someone who would give them a happy home please let me know.

That is a sad decision for you to make but understandable in the circumstances. I wish I could help! I want two more budgies, too. But I am not in UK. I am sure you will find a good home for them soon. Just don't rush the decision and make sure it IS a good home first.
