The guy at work had a call today from a lady asking if work would take in a budgie, She aperantly found it in her garden and brought a cage for it but her sons astma is being made worse by it so she cant keep it. Dont know the sex or if its got a ring or not but i asked if she said what colour it was and he said she said it was yellow. But we will see, as he is going to pick it up tonight if he can find her house from the directions she gave him. The breeder who owns the ones at work is going to come in and take a look at it and pass him judgment as we dont want to put in in with the other budges (after quinteen of course) if he isnt happy with it as it could breed with his budgies and mess up his plans. I will take in my camera tomorrow to get a photo of it and the other budiges at work.
What a lucky little thing not to get eaten by something

Keep us posted about the little one. Do you think Ada and Eagle would like a new friend?

will do. Sadly i cant have it as it can fly and ada gets scaired by flying birds so i would have to have his wings clipped so it was like them which i dont agree with so think he would be better off with someone else.

Oh, poor budgies! Fancy being scared by your own kind! Hope he finds a good home, PP.

well seen it today and ita an all yellow female with red eyes so im guessing Lutino?, No ring but someone has taught her to step up at some point. She is friendly but not sure. If the breeder at work doesnt want her there are apperantly a few students who want her. I took som photos but my camera is in the car and i cant ba asked to go out there now so will post tomorrow.
Apperantly a little while ago the nabour found a budgie in there garden and it only had 1 foot and they caught it and gave it away, than a week after this one was found in there garden, another person on the street has said they saw a parrot but couldnt catch it. I would asume these birds are comming from the same place, but she seems healthy and has been chirping away.

yes verry wriggly after the photo she managed to wriggle free and she flew off across the reptile room with me running behind her lol, im going to take in a perch and a spair toy for her has they cage she came with has 2 plastic perches and one swing and the plastic one had those sandpaper covers on them so she was trying to sleep on the swing, i took them straight off and now she sits on them again.
