Lost Budgie tells police his address

Just had to share this, was reading the news the other day and a budgie that had flown away from home landed on a business man's shoulder and was turned over to the police. Once with the police and in a talking mood he told them his home address which his owners had taught him.

A stray budgerigar has been reunited with his owner after telling a police officer his home address near Tokyo.

The two-year-old male budgie, named Piko, was being kept at a police station after being captured in a hotel garden in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, on Sunday.

Two days later, the budgie began repeating a place name and house number.

A police officer contacted the address and found that the woman who lived there, Fumie Takahashi, was Piko's owner.

The bird was returned to his home on Wednesday.

Fumie Takahashi said she jumped for joy when she heard the bird had been found.

She taught Piko to repeat her address and phone number after losing another budgie that flew away five years ago and was never found.

How are PJ and PoPo doing

They are doing well but no real change in their health from the medicine. Been waiting for some change to update my thread since it's just more of the same other than I think PJ is almost an adult since he spents most of his day humping a stuffed animal.
