Should i move her to a different room when i want to start getting her hand tame, so there's no interference from Daisy, and do the same with Daisy? i did put a big thing of newspaper between them, but Daisy was far too curious. Daisy was starting to do up's again earlier, (had to come from behind her and do up) and she briefly did it again not too long ago..im following Bonesy's taming\training guide. starting from scratch pretty much with Daisy and obviously Trixie, i made a good few mistakes there with Daisy and she's still v.young so im hoping to get away with it, with her. And i know it's going to take that bit longer with Trixie as she is a lot older (6-8months) and i doubt i can make mistakes with her... As always i appreciate any and all input

You will need to keep them seperate for a good 4-6 weeks. I would either keep them at either ends of the room or if you have the space then a seperate room is good as they can just concentrate on you and you can get them nice and tame. You can then also let Daisy out more without her getting distracted by Trixie and then she can get confident coming out.
After about 4 weeks I would then move the cages closer so they can investigate one another and then you can introduce Daisy to Trixie by letting Daisy out to investigate at her own time. Then let Trixie out - if you want to get Trixie used to coming out without distrations you could move Daisy out of the room or just cover her. Then let Trixie explore Daisy cage and then eventually let them out together.
When you want to put them in the same cage you will need to clean and disinfect everything and then re arrange the cage, fill it with millet and treats and then let them explore it and hopefully go in together. Girls can be quite terratorial so this should help. Might take quite a few hours so do it in the day when you have nothing else to do and then keep an eye on them for a bit to see how they get on together. They will squabble and bicker a bit - tis normal!

Quick update:
Trixie is doing quite well with the hand taming! She willingly put one foot up without darting around! And Daisy well she sort of up'd but decided the silly mirror was more important lol! I'm really really surprised at trix's progress...only had her a couple of days!

Maybe it's because she's older and perhaps more used to people? My first budgie was an adult and he had no problem with stepping up or sitting on people. Sadly I was too young to really appreciate him. And mirrors are an awful distraction XD Munchy saw his reflection in the window when he landed on the sill (after having flown off my shoulder because I was sitting down and then having no cage to land on) and even millet only distracted him for a few seconds. Well done to you, though I wish I could tame my little monster so easily ^^ I hope everything goes well for you all.

Remove any mirrors Rob, when taming budgies mirrors are a bad thing so take them out until they are completely happy with stepping up and spending time with you

That happens, Rob! It is part of having budgies, I'm afraid. Moogie, you are in front as you and Elfie are at a good place already. You just need to keep reinforcing the lessons with Elfie. Which probably happens every day as they are things you would use all the time.
