Sorry, he's rather quiet and there's a lot of fuzzy background noise. Ignore the humming at the beginning, I'd been singing to encourage him to start talking again (he stopped when I wandered over to him). He's now sitting on my head watching me post this. Apparently my head is preferable to the windowsill right now ^^ Not that I mind... I need to wash my hair later anyway ;D Apparently he's not learnt how to say 'Clever bird' as well And he just said something that could have been either 'pretty Munchy' or 'pretty budgie' but it sounded like 'pretty boojie' ;D ;D ;D Sorry it's a little long, I wasn't sure how long to film him for, especially as he's just sitting there and chatting. He did decide to oblige and get on my finger at the end though. We've come a long way from the time when my finger would get bitten as soon as it went near him.

I think at about 4 minutes I just about made out pretty budgie or munchy. It was a bit quiet and dark but thanks for posting it

Sorry about that, Marianne. We don't have a proper video camera and the windowsill was the only place he'd talk so I couldn't get a light source behind me. ^^

He's lovely. I have that problem getting photos of my birds too. They love to sit on the louvres so I can't get behind them and on the same side as the light source.

Munchy is such a sweetie.
The problem in trying to video them talking is that they often like to talk when there are loud noises in the background, making it hard to pick up. Plus if you talk to them, turn the background noise down, or they get interested in the camera, they stop!

Thanks Hezz and Stace ^^
They do love perching in awkward places for photos and Munchy always stops talking when I talk to him, although singing whilst not looking at him seemed to work ^^ And my granddad was being noisy outside.
