I know this might be a daft question but I was wondering what size is best for the entrence hole in nest to the bottom of nest, I Dnt want the hole to low the babies can fall out and Dnt want it to high so what size is about right?

The higher the better so the chicks don't come out until they are of proper age to be out of nest box. I normally divide the nest box in to half. The entry hole is in the middle of the top half.
