She's laid 2 eggs ATM but do they need a concave as just realised there wasn't one in there?

Has she got substrate in there like shavings etc? If so mine tend to dig an indent into and lay in the middle.

Hi there I have just joined this forum to look for exactly the information given above; thanks for that! Not interested in breeding at all (neither is the bird but the general info is great, thank you. One thing I would like to know is: Are birds sociable to the extent that they can be introduced to other different breeds of birds? Probably a daft question but I have a female Peach-cheeked Conure, Izzy, very tame and has free flight whenever I am in the room (which is most of the time)and yesterday I brought home what I now know to be a Rubino Rosa, no idea how old he is, has never been handled and was quite aggressive last evening but seems more settled today. Yesterday he bared his teeth at me every time I went near him but this afternoon I slowly put my hand in to add a honey stick and a swing to his cage, which was devoid of anything except seed box and water box and he was fine. His cage is about 18" away from Izzy's cage and they seem to have accepted that okay. I don't intend to even attempt a face to face introduction for a while yet but wondered if it was something I could work towards or whether I should just forget it? Thanks for reading

I think it depends a bit on the particular birds character and also its species. My friend has different types of parrots which she lets out together, but not all at once. Her conure, ringneck and amazon get on great, but her alexandrine can't be out with anyone! My hahns macaws stayed at hers when I was on holiday and only got on with the amazon, but her conure loved the hahns even though they hated her! Bourkes are so unaggresive with other birds that my 2 in the aviary are bossed around a bit by the budgies and they can even live happily with finches and smaller birds so it might be down to whether your conure accepts him. I saw a pic today of a conure sitting on the shoulders of a cockatoo and preening his head for him
