Hi everyone! Just wondered if any one had any advice about our budgie Olly. This morning we discovered Olly to be heavy breathing and looking in discomfort. He is usually quite active, but has not really moved from his perch all day. We're very worried about his condition as he is only 3 years old, and it has come over all of a sudden. Does this sounds like anything that any one else has encountered with their budgie before? Or does this sound like it could be fatal? We also have two other budgies which we're worried will catch it off Olly if it is an illness. Any advice will be appreciated and thank you in advance.

For a start you should move Olly to a separate cage in a separate room.
As for his illness, only a small video can tell better.

The heat will cause this, put the birds feet in cold water and find a cool place for the bird.....................air sac mights may be the problem, spot the crop wall with ivermectin 0.1%..............run a hot tap in the bathroom to create steam , let the bird have short periods in the steam
