We will be going this Saturday to look at 3 budgies for the avairy.....however is it a good idea to put another female with Madam Bede....I would rather be safe and ask the question now then create an issue later in the aviary.....
All the budgies are 4 months old and there is one boy on his own and the other two have become a husband and wife team according to the owner....the boys are brothers but the little girl is from a different clutch.....
Ages of the herd: Madam - 2 in Sept. Ollie - 1 Aidan - 1 in Aug. Gilbert - have no clue but would think 9-12 months

6ft x 6ft x 3ft min. If so things should sort them pretty quick
once Madam has shown them who's boss. In a cage situation
the lack of space is a different matter. Yours B.J.

Just to clarify you would end up with two cocks and two hens? There shouldn't be any problem with them all living together in an aviary

Thank you for your posts.....if we get this pair then it would be 2 females and 4 males.....and the out side flight in the aviary is about 6ft x 4ft.....if we only get the one boy then we will look for another budgie to make up the numbers to even rather than odd....
