so I went to a local aviary today/this evening and saw this white/blue pied cock and fell for him, lol I thought I'd try him with Emy seeing as Trevor wasn't interested. This is what happened within 3 minutes of putting the cock in with Emy. imageshack.us/clip/my-videos/41/n46r.mp4/he's a very nice cock with beautiful markings. After about 20 minutes and some flapping around he started calling to her. It appears as though they'll be breeding very soon

I am glad that they are getting along fine.
But don't you believe in quarantine?

Well, yes and no. In the case of it coming from a good - registered & reputable - breeder. It was amongst other birds too and it looks healthy enough. Maybe this is not strictly a good thing but I don't see a problem after seeing where it came from

but budgies can hide their illness and putting them into the cage so quick, can cause stress, then maybe illness!

New birds spreading illness in the flock and becoming ill from the flock.
