on saturday we brought home a new friend for rumple, hes just 6 weeks old, but is already bigger than rumple (blue spangle) . green bird is a tad unsteady on his feet, he's already fallen off a perch a couple of times just wondering about his size, our original bird is 9-10 weeks old, and the new one is 6-7 weeks, but is considerably larger, they are both boys, and are getting on pretty darn well Attachments:

Hello Rumple is a normal pet type budgie. Your new bird
is from a family of show type birds, which are bred to be
bigger. Don't get too excited if he was a winner he wouldn't
have been for sale. Yours B.J.

Both your budgies are very beautiful babies Size is what they get from their parents. Similar age budgies can have different sizes.

They're such amazing little characters, Gizmo's the cautious careful one that thinks before doing, and willow (the other budgie - with a yellow face) just goes for it. Mine settled in quite quickly too, within a few hours they where already eating and had found the water dish.

Rumple and his new friend are so adorable. Rumple is the perfect name. He looks like a Rumple. I can't wait to hear what you name the little green guy,

I have to play devil's advocate here and say your new bird should have been quarantined from Rumple for a month before being introduced.
At 6 weeks old your new bird is still a baby and may just be a little clumsy because of this.
