I gave two birds a dose each of the 1% stuff. One still has a bit of clicking. They both do that thing like they about to throw up, with the neck going up and down.
Both are very quiet now ( no chirping) and sleepy, still eating lots and droppings look good. I'm wondering what the after effects of this drug are, it says on the box that you can give another dose after 3 weeks.
They are in separate cages.

There are no after effects. There are two dosages for Ivermictin. One is preventive which is one drop every six months. The other one is for treatment which is one drop every 15 days, at least mine says so.

Rob, just be aware that all budgies do what's called regurgitation, where their neck goes up and down and they sort of spew out seed. It's the same as when they feed seed stored in their crop to their babies and their mates. This is normal and nothing to worry about.
It's different from vomiting where their heads move from side to side, and they usually get bits of slimy seed on their face or it flicks out sideways sort of.

Just wondering...Is the dosage 1%? or 0.1%? Rob quoted his as 1%. I feel Nani is checking that it is 1.0%, not 0.1% as should be.
