My oldest hen (around 8yrs) has been clicking while breathing and has been getting a dirty vent,feeling a bit sorry for herself.
When i was giving her a clean up i noticed the area just up from the vent and below the tummy was swollen. Its soft to the touch, spongy like.
I've been to the vet for my other bird and he gave the bird an injection. He gave me some antibiotic to give her twice a day with a small plastic syringe. I given the bird with the swelling a dose as well,well it cant do much harm.
If its a tumour and taking into account the age of the bird, does anybody think there is any hope ?
