I though i would do a post with all the daft and silly things my two get up to. Ill keep updating it as they do more daft stuff.
Whats in a beak? Well yesterday mammy once again wanted to talk to eagle and give him kisses, but not having any of that eagle decided to take drastic action and fryed to fly back into the cage compleatly forgetting her cant fly! Well he hit the egde of the cage face first and her beak took the impact. So sporting a scuffed beak it was tempertantrum time.
The package Last night the budgies recived a package, Ada closley supervised as mammy opened the box to reveail an air purifyer! Ada was very impressed with the new purchace and began chirping instructions on how to install it and where to place it in the room. Its not as quiet as she would like but at least it will clear up the budgie dust/small (that eagle makes of coures, not her).
Stay tuned for the next exciting installment

Were back with epersode 2 - The Great escape.
Well the day started off like anyother, Eagles morning shout, a day of playing with ada and budgie time in the bathroom later in the evening. Mammy nicely made up an eggfood mountain which eagle claimed as his and sat on top of it eating the edges so ada couldnt have any. When it came time to go back to the cages eagle decided he didnt want to go back to his cage and wanted to stay with ada, so mammy put him in ada's cage and for some reason closed the door! saying some noncence about not wanting either of them to fall out. So thinking all was well mammy left and went down stairs. Later on Eagle decided he didnt want to stay in Ada's cage after all and shouted for his mammy but she didnt come up as she was too busy doing boring human stuff. So eagles great escape began! He hopped his way for perch to perch untill he reached the end of ada's cage that was next to his, he then squeezed himself through the bars of the cage, then being all brave and risking life and limb made the proberly less than 4cm jump to his cage. Then shimmied across the bars to his open door and back in to safety. Mammy was very suprised when she came up and eagle was missing untill she saw him sleeping in his cage. Eagle then ignored mammy the rest of the night as punishment for ignoring him.

Not if i dont kill them first, they gave me the shock of a life time last night. I had ada's cage on my bed open as i do every day so they can play and as they cant fly they stay in the cage but i leave it open just incase they argue and eagle needs to get out. Well went up last night to check on them and i had forggoton to turn the light on so it was dark, i opened the door and hit eagle with it as he was standing behind it then ada was missing! Checked eagle and he was fine so put him in his cage and i was calling and calling ada but she wouldnt answer. She never wanders off so i asume she panicked as eagle had left her to find me in the dark so she went to find him. Eventualy found her down between the bed and the wall. Checked her over and she was fine. Luckerly.
