Hi
Yesterday, I noticed one of the Budgies, he is about 18 months old was sitting on floor of aviary, fluffed up, seemed to be breathing heavily tail moving quite a lot and had a problem flying up. I have bought him indoors in a cage
He has since birth had a slightly fatter vent area
He has been eating and drinking quite regularly
However I have noticed that he seems to be scratching his rear end a lot with his feet, and continuously trying to preen himself under his wings
I have some spot on , should I use this, could this be mites as all other in aviary seem fine or could this be another problem
Thanks
Chris

All the signs of a stressed or an ill budgie Chris , isolation, heat and guardin angel must be adopted asap.
Scratching the rear end is a sign of a clagged vent , check the vent and if it requires cleaning then wash the area with tepid water

Thanks Barrie
I have urgently purchased some Guardin Angel, hopefully will come soon.
Tried to clean vent, but had to give up as he was getting stressed and not cooperating, will try again. His breathing seems not so heavy
He has been eating the trill and millet
