Hey all, when i was young, my fatehr built an aviary. then a few years later when i was 12, we built a really big and i mean big aviary!! it was like paradise for the budgies!
we had over 200 budgies!!! but a year after it was built my father gave them all away as i didnt want to wake up early mornings to feed them! As he had work to go to as well and i had to go school we just couldnt take it due to the cold weather, my mum did help but you know what theyre like :/
but anyway i moved to london 3 years ago and now my dad is planning on moving too! hes now retired! im thinking of building him an aviary and start off with a few budgies that he can grow.
we started off with about 18 budgies which at the end turned out to be more than 200 when we gave them away!
so ive now joined this forum so i can get tips to help my dad.
so hi!!

Hello and welcome. I wish you well in getting set up for your father. There is plenty of good advice to be read in all sections but maybe start in the cage and aviary section so you get some good ideas and can start planning.
