I would love to know what you guys think I will get from these two pairs. PAIR 1:This pair is a Blue Series Texas Clearbody cock and White Lacewing hen. PAIR 2:This pair is a Yellowface Grey Spangle cock and Single Factor Anthracite hen.

I've never paired these varieties up before either so I'm curious to see what other people think.

I will take a guess at pair 1. You should get all blue texas clearbody chicks because the lacewing acts like ino (ino+cinnamon) all cocks will also be split for cinnamon.

Both pairs have laid their first eggs but when I checked the nest boxes a few hours later, both eggs had been cracked open. Not too sure why. I've put extra best material in both boxes. Fingers crossed.

Yes they are. Although last night I checked the nest box and the Anthracite hen has laid her 2nd egg and it was still in tact. Fingers crossed it will be ok when I get home tonight. The lacewing hen laid her 3rd egg but again, this one was cracked open. I need to get some dummy eggs..!

Good News, Pair 2 have still got their 2nd egg in tact. She is due to lay another today so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I managed to find some dummy eggs last night so I put one in pair 1 nest box. She is also due to lay another egg today so I guess I'll see if it's worked when I get home.
