Hi, i didn't want to muscle in on Sarah's lovely pics so thought i would do a separate one. My daughter and i took the grandchildren to see it when it came to Reading last week. It wasn't as well organised as Sarah's though by the looks of it. We managed to arrive early and got front row UNTIL the convoy started to arrive and everyone surged forward, we had no barricades just some poor people in yellow vests desperately trying to keep people back, honestly the event lorries were coming through and people were still getting in front. Anyway my 9 year old grandson said (in his words) it was awesome and my little 6 year old granddaughter said (in her words) was that it !! . I think she thought she was going to see the cauldron being carried through ;D. I would hope they remember it even though it was a bit of a bun fight Some pics.

Well, skysmum, maybe not so well put together as Sarah's day out, but the weather was kinder to you! "The Times" editorial is quoted as saying "enough is enough! It must stop raining!" Has it really been so bad?

Well Hezz there is a building in London called the Ark, it looks just like an Ark and we have decided its time to book in with all the animals and buds and sit tight. I think it really has rained for forty days and forty nights, its been the worst summer i can remember, and cold. Also not 5 mins after taking the pics, yes you've guessed, it started to rain. Having said that we have a strange phenomenon in the sky today, i think its called sun, how long it will last is any ones guess .

I know that pesky bright thing that burns your eyeballs when you look at it! We get a bit like that towards the end of a particularly long and drawn-out wet season. It doesn't get cold though.
