All ready just need to get some grit tomorrow as shop didnt have any . I have replaced both plastic swings with wooden ones and used natural wood perches and some plain wooden ones . What you think ?

you have done a fantastic job of the cage ... . i can tell your budgie/s will be well looked after ... .. ps make sure its soluble grit.... ..

I do see one small problem. You have one perch directly under another. The bottom one will end up getting pooped on, which is not ideal. Otherwise it looks great.
Make sure any metal bells etc are stainless steel - if they aren't check them very regularly for rust. At the first sign of rust throw them out. Heavy metal poisoning in budgies is a killer. We don't want that.

Ok thank you I will replace them when they get more in in the shop, they only had 2 left which were too thick yesteday so I will wait till they get new ones in or take a look in pets at home see if they got any. There is only one bell and its stainless steel

Just be aware that it isn't just the bell that you need to check. Inside where the clapper is, and any rings that keep the clapper on the bell plus any hooks or chains - anything metal at all -all need checking regularly. Also, from my experience, you can't have too many bells. Most budgies love getting a reaction from giving the bell a bump, and a bell on a swing is double the fun - they can swing and ting in one!
