I have just bought some organic groats. Do they have to be soaked overnight or can they be given straight from the pack? I got them for my breeding pair, they have just had their 8th egg so I'm trying to feed as much variety and fresh fruit and veg as I can.

soak for 24 hours , rinse well and then feed, remove any left in the evening ...............they can be fed dry also

Barrie what are the plus points of feeding groats please? Have seen them on haiths but never bought them should i be feeding them to my birds & how often any help & advise i will be very grateful thank you Darren from Exeter
