We need a flow through of air in our birdrooms , a vent in one end and a fan at the other which will pull through the stale air and help cool the birdroom down. I have the fan on all day when its hot, the floors are wet and nest boxes are sprayed. I have a fooger which will throw droplets of water into every nook and cranny Option two is to spray water into the bladre of the fan , NOT into the electrics , this works very well for me

Great post Barrie, something many aviary owners don't think about until the rare hot weather is upon us.

Good Post Barrie. In extreme heat i hung a damp guinea bag in my outside aviary. The air moving inside cools the area. When dry i have to throw water on the bag.
