Hello Mark. If you can, put the birds into separate cages might be a good idea. You don't give enough info for a good diagnosis. What are you feeding them are they babies or adults lots more info please... Read posts on the Forum to help you look after them....B.J.

Hopefully just a long stressful journey and new home have made them stressed and they aren't really ill. Make sure they have good access to the food and water, keep their environment calm. If they are hot they will be panting a bit, that may be how the hen is when she is breathing. Is the cage in direct sunlight? If so move it. If there is any help you can give them to reduce the temperature a bit it may help them. I hope they are soon better.

If you are in Egypt maybe they are acclimatising themselves to the heat. The tea is a good idea, I hope all works out if they have been imported then they will be understandably stressed so hopefully they are just adjusting to the new environment best of luck and please post some pics when they are feelin better

They are very pretty! I think they probably are feelin rather stressed with the importation but it's a good sign try are eatIng a bit now. I think most budgies have diahorrea for a day or two after after they cOme to a new place but it has been delayed a bit with yours as they weren't eating for a little while. When mine had it I gave her cooled black tea instead of water for three days which helped to no end. However if it has been a few days and you think they are dehydrated maybe put some guardian angel in thier water to give them a boost. If you don't have any you can order online I dot know if they sell it in Egypt or not

Stress is a big killer and the conditions some of these exporters use leave a lot to be desired, keep the birds quiet with fresh seed and water daily, avoid greens during this period and put them on anti biotics for seven days.
