Hi - it has been a while since I have been on here. Anyway, a few months ago I got Booji a buddy and named him Bongo. I am thinking it is time to put them in the same cage (right now they are side by side in separate cages). They fly around together outside of the cages, and Booji will go over to Bongo's 'house' (he is a very pushy neighbor) but Bongo has not yet popped in to visit Booji. Observing them together they seem to bond quite nicely with some squawking and screeching now and then, but no major tussles. And Booji is still interacting the same way with me as he did pre-Bongo - plus he is talking now too! So far he says 'love you, love you, love you!' and 'Booji!' I am working with Bongo who is not really a timid bird, but a bit cautious, so things have moved slowly with his training. It is funny how they are 2 totally different personalities! I am considering 2 different size cages and was hoping to get some opinions/advice. I have grown to appreciate the Vision cage (surprisingly because I hated it initially) but am open to suggestions if the size is right. Booji is currently in one 24Lx15Wx21H. I am considering for both together either a 30Lx15Wx22H or a 30Lx15Wx37H. Any thoughts which may be better? Obviously one is considerably higher, but not sure how much that matters with budgies. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Jackie P.S. I will post some pics soon when I get a chance - very busy summer here!
