It looks lovely, Sarah, but a wee bit chilly. Lovely fun making sandcastles!

Wow! On sunday it would have all blown away, I was a bit worried my 7 year old might get blown off once or twice, tee hee. I love love love Weymouth, I can feel the need to get the tent down there if this good weather holds over the next few weekends...

It looks lovely, Sarah, but a wee bit chilly. Lovely fun making sandcastles! Chilly for you maybe Hezz but as a cold hardened Brit I was absolutely fine! Hot weather doesn't particularly agree with me, I get burned easily and the heat makes me uncomfortable. I find about 20C or less is enough. Stop laughing, I can hear you from here..... ;D

I'll just thank you both for not mentioning my "Witch Hazel" look... in my defence it was very windy and my hair just got wider, wilder and saltier as the day went on. I thought I'd have to shave my head when I tried to get the brush through it later in the day, ha ha!!

I thought I'd have to shave my head when I tried to get the brush through it later in the day, ha ha!! TBH I wasn't sure it was you!!! I know that feeling re hair! Mine has always been long and is very fine - knots like crazy and lose half a head trying to brush it out. I rarely go anywhere like that without having it clipped up, in a granny knot, or plaited. Just not worth it when I get home. As for the temperature, my 12yo won't leave his sweater in the morning until it is about 22 C overnight. He is a real tropical baby! ;D

Tee hee Hezz! How kind you are saying you weren't sure it was me. I'm afraid I was actually out in public looking like that... I didn't think to pack a hairband as when I left home my hair was looking pretty good. Such is life... We would all be drooping around pathetically in that sort of temperature, it just goes to show how we cope best with what we're used to!
