It's all taking shape now There's some bad weather forecast over the next few days so I hope you get your painting done ! Your cement made me smile Any cementing we have done has either cat or dog paw marks too, I'm sure they do it on purpose ;D

It was delivered in big ton bags we had 1 ton of `all in` and 1 ton of hard core +6 bags of cement , there is no way we could have got a cement mixer lorry up to our back gate we had to have the delivery lorry drop the bags half way and hubby and son in law had to bring it up in the barrow .. bloody hard going for them all because of that sodding caravan !!! I am worrying now how the shed delivery is going to get up , if the caravan was just moved down as there is plenty of room for it to be further down we wouldn't have a problem............ I am thinking of contacting my local MP about it because its worrying me now should a fire occur in any of our houses at the back and should a fire engine need to get up here they would have to waste time moving it which could have serious implications
He did smoth over some of the doggy prints but not all as they will be mostly under the shed so wont cause a problem .

The shed I ordered says they erect it as well so fingers crossed all goes to plan ,, but I dont know how they will manage as they wont be able to get the delivery lorry up the lane , they will have to carry the sections up. Its was a fortnight today I ordered it and they said it would take 2-3 weeks so it should be here by next week fingers crossed .

Mick, I can't make out the holes you are talking about, so I have some questions. Are the bricks mortared together or just placed down? If mortared down, do you leave a little tube or something to mortar over? Or how do you leave a hole? And how do you keep slugs from climbing in through the holes? These are probably silly questions to you, , but I am having trouble visualising your description. (Just in case I do this one day )

Maybe the muck closed the holes off enough for the slugs not to get through, but a good blast and the holes were clean again to let the water out! Good thinkin' 99! ;D We don't get slugs, but there are sure to be other horrors!
