Hi everyone Ernest is molting loads pin feathers on his head and face and few on his back . I have noticed his cere is but flaky and peeling like the dark blue is coming off is that ?? Right

Photo Liz. It could be perfectly normal and he just isn't in breeding condition, or there is the worry that he may have scaly-face. Is the cere underneath a nice smooth texture and uniform colour? Chuck up a photo, we will be able to see better. Just had a look at your original photos of him - he seems fine there, no hint of mites, but for his cere having brown patches. Is the brown underneath or the blue? Maybe Ernest is really Ernestine? ?

It does sound like he might be a she.
Post some before and after pics so we can see for sure.

Oooooo well it seems to be dark blue On top and under is brownish lol will post a pic it's hard to get on but seems the blue is coming off lol

Also Ernest knocked a feather out edge of the wing it started to bleed lots hope it looks worse then it is cause it looked like a murder scene :-(

In my not very expert opinion, she is looking a bit "girly"! Ernestine is looking more likely.

Oooo lol well I will keep a eye on him. As for the feather it was bleeding loads and he or she keeps messin with his wing it's has dried blood on it . I can't see any broken feather or funny out of place feathers do I need to do anything ?

If they break a blood feather, it can bleed a little. It's good to have some styptic powder on hand in your first aid kit. If they really bleed a lot and it's not stopping, use the styptic powder, or you can use cornflower, to clog the bleeding.

It stopped it was on the edge of the Wing really bleed going to just leave it and offer a bath to get rid of the blood !
