My mum is thinking about getting a second budgie, she has found one in a pet shop! I have told her I don't like the look of budgies when they're in pet shops! And from what I have heard to train budgies it's not the best place because they're too old!
If there's any budgie breeders within the liverpool/Wigan that would be so helpful! And how would I introduce them? Because I love my little guy and I don't want him getting hurt :/

Hi! No pet shop budgies that's my opinion breeders all the way, you are much more likely to get a young healthy and more attractive bird, pet shop budgies tend to be older, stressed, un tame and sometimes carry illness. Thats my preference obviously not all pet shops are like that but your right it does seem a lot of peoPle have had bad pet shop experiences when it comes to budgies. As for introducing your two budgies, they must be in seperate cages away from eachother for the first four weeks as quarantine. After this period you may start to introduce them gradually, first off during out of cage time where they can have supervised play time. Also of you go onto the health section and find the thread about having sweeties leg ring removed, Barrie shutt posted a link off reputable breeders in all different areas have a look x
